What happened
A raid on the harbour killed a fisherman working on his boat near the breakwater. The harbour was attacked repeatedly: the coaling hulk London City was sunk at her moorings three times and salvaged twice.
Casualty note
Garnet Tucker, a 62-year-old fisherman, killed aboard his boat near the breakwater.

Brixham's raids were almost all 'tip and run' — aircraft came in over Berry Head so low and so suddenly that the air raid warning never sounded.
